Stump removal in Bountiful
Most people searching for stump removal want the stump gone so they can use the yard again. Grinding does that in a fraction of the time it takes to dig a stump out, with far less damage to the lawn, the driveway and the sprinkler lines around it.
The grinder chews the stump and its root flare into chips down to 6–8 inches below grade. The roots left deep in the ground rot away on their own over the next few years. You fill the hole with topsoil, or with the chips, and plant over it.

Full excavation is only worth it when something has to go exactly where the root ball was — a foundation, a deep footing or a new tree in the same hole. For lawns, garden beds, patios and pavers, grinding is enough.
